Mr. Kang, who recently relocated from South Korea to join his family, was looking forward to establishing a new life with his family in Georgia. Suddenly, the unexpected happened… While working in his yard, a heavy tree limb fell on him, paralyzing him from the waist down. Unable to safely transport Mr. Kang in and out of their home, they turned to their church for help.
The Kang’s church successfully raised funds for the ramp materials. They still needed skilled labor to install and complete the project. Partnering with volunteers from HRM, the ramp was completed. Now it’s much easier for the family to get him out of the home and live a more normal life.
